Music for Learning Spanish

Music is a great way for teaching children. From sweet lullabies to songs and rhymes that teach numbers and colores, music is way to teach and have fun.

Children learn language much easier than adults. In order teach children to speak Spanish, parents can give them educational materials which awaken their interest in langauge.

Cantarima has released an excellent selection of Spanish children's songs.  The CD includes classics such as "La Feria de San Juan" and "Las Mañanitas", as well as popular preschool songs that children usually learn first in English, like "La Pequeñita Araña (Itsy Bitsy Spider" and "Las ruedas del autobús (Wheels on the Bus)."

Some of the songs are sung by a chorus of children, other by adult singers.  The music has  a great sound, and the CD is perfect for listening in the car, or to take along to school to share with teachers and friends. (translated from Spanish).
